Offensive lineman Martin Koivisto (6-7, 300) of Shakopee (Minn.) High School announced his commitment to Central Michigan this afternoon, via Twitter.
A consensus 3-star recruit in the class of 2022, Koivisto was at CMU this past weekend for an official visit after receiving a scholarship offer from the Chippewas on Feb. 11. He chose CMU over reported offers from Iowa State, Eastern Michigan, Kent State and South Dakota.
Koivisto becomes the fourth offensive lineman and eighth commitment overall in the Chippewas 2022 class.
