Offensive lineman Sam Secrest (6-6, 295) of Indianapolis Roncalli High School announced his commitment to Central Michigan this afternoon, via Twitter.
A class of 2022 recruit, Secrest was at CMU this past weekend for an official visit, following a scholarship offer from the Chippewas on May 17. He chose CMU over reported offers from Akron, Ball State and Illinois State.
Secrest only started playing organized football last year. He becomes the third offensive lineman and seventh commitment overall in the Chippewas 2022 class.
