Do not know when it started but now you can access your ESPN+ account through Xfinity.

Will be nice to watch the Tigers ESPN+ games on the TV screen instead of a monitor.

Espn + is good and improved.

Last year I was able to access espn + through my Samsung TV but not my LG tv
Not sure how long ago it started, but ESPN+ is available in the ESPN app. I hardly used the app so I don't know how long it's been on there.

You can project it from your phone to your tv through Google Chromecast.
Watched the 901FC game tonight on Xfinity.
1-0 win but may have lost keeper to ruptured Achilles.

Yes, last year we watched ESPN+ games on our TV with the ESPN app over our Roku.

we watched it over the xbone, just cancelled until we play in the fall.
I have been on ESPN+ for a couple of years now, and enjoy it.
Biggest complaint is RW and FF.
They REALLY need to improve this functionality.

Same. My TVs are all TCL Roku Smart TVs, so I just installed the app. Have an AppleTV in my media room when I want to watch on the projector.

Nice, building a new house and think we're going to go with a projector with Apple TV set up in living room. Any recommendations for a good projector in a room with crap ton of windows?

LG has a funky App store with no good apps. You have to get Roku to access ESPN app and others. But I love the sound quality on the LG Tv's. You almost don't need a surround sound system. Great for movies and music.
ESPN+ is on Disney+ for $8 a month.

It's also on Hulu, not sure how much.

You can cast it on your TV so many ways.

Or, you can join a watch party....

We have this one… 4K HDR. Projects onto a 128” screen (but you need to look at specs and measure distance from the mounting point to see what you’ll end up with.)

The closet of the gameroom is our media closet, so the receiver/boxes/console all go in there. With that kind of distance, you really need to use an active fiber HDMI cable. Speakers mounted flush to the ceiling with the subwoofer in the closet.

As for the light, we have blinds and a blackout curtain that we can use to block out most of the light. In the morning when I’m playing video games, I usually even turn on one of the lights in the room.

My GF was babysitting a projector while her friend was traveling, and unfortunately, has to return it soon. She definitely doesn't want a TV, it doesn't go with her or the rest of her decor.

From reading reviews, seeing a few and pricing them out, the whole projector thing is much trickier than a lot of people think. You are looking at a $2,000 solution. For that money you can do an 85" tv with theatre sound.

I don't think you can spend much less than $500 for a good projector. Less expensive projectors deliver a very good picture. The issues are pairing it with audio equipment to get great sound, and noise from the actual projector itself.

My total out of pocket was right at $5k, and included everything but the screen (which was there when we bought the house March 2020). Very good quality speakers, receiver, routing all the cables, etc. The vast majority of that was hardware, and that was right at the beginning of COVID when things were really hard to get shipped.

That price also included mounting and hiding cables for four TVs.

Ultra Short Throw Laser projector...

I got one that will project 120 inches with the front (Part of projector furthest from the wall) of the projector about 20 inches.

Laser projectors bulbs essentially last forever.

UST have soundbar quality sound built in, Smart TV features and wiring is essentially the same as a regular TV.

But right now they are pricey...Got one from china 18 months ago for about $1,200...But they seem to be much more expensive now.

Now one thing to keep in mind is the cost of the screen...The better the screen the more light you can have in the room and still get a good picture. No screen at all it is still decent in the daytime with closed blinds (Not blackout curtains)

Just a much simpler setup.

I have espn+, Disney, and Hulu and I think the entire package was $14 a month
If you like to place wagers, espn+ has great breakdowns of teams and odds
