USM is leading FSU 2-0 with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the third
South Carolina rallies for a 4-3 win against Virginia in ODU's region
East Carolina survives for an 8-5 win against Norfolk State in Charlotte's region
N.C. State is up 7-1 on Alabama in the seventh inning in Louisiana Tech's region
USM doing TTT things.....bottom 3 our 1 and 2 hitters get on to start the inning only to have our 3, 4 and 5 hitters all 3 go down on backward Ks as the 2 runners never advanced a base.
I know this is a dumb question... how does this work? Is this like double elimination? Do you play the same team best 2/3 or is it single elimination?

Double elimination. First game will put you in the winner or losers bracket. 0 losses then you only need to win 3 to get out of the regional. Lose 1 then have to win 4. 2 of those against the same team to get to the super regional.
Someone tell me if I'm wrong.
