Well, here we are again. It's yet another Memorial Day weekend. I hope you will all join me in posting a few words in respect for the many men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice while ensuring our freedom. As I do, I am sure almost all of you have family or friends whose names are on that long list of heroes. At this time of remembrance, my thoughts especially go to my high school teammate, 1LT Lou Breuer and my college roommates, 1LT Terry Reed and CPT Robert Melton. I miss you, guys. Rest in peace, brothers.
Many thanks to all who literally sacrificed their lives and loved ones so we can live as free people in a relatively peaceful and prosperous country. We owe them all a debt of gratitude and respect.
Sigh. Memorial Day has now come and gone, and it is hard to describe how disappointed I am that out of 243 people who visited this thread, only one, monarx, took a moment to post a comment. I just think that is sad.
All gave some, some gave all. Thank you to all who made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we all enjoy.
