The Tulane game is being predicted to be a huge game this preseason.
We actually have a pretty great OOC schedule this season.
Does Notre Dame(now back as an independent 03-lol) count?

Maybe a Peach Bowl for us 04-rock

Surprised not to see Liberty...
How does Auburn and other non G5
teams compare?
Yes, where is Liberty?
Some would say Liberty is not on there because they are independent, but they have BYU on there. So who knows?
Liberty may shock the world next season03-shhhh
Just asking -- Since Liberty is an independent private church related school, who has the power (or will) to examine their program as state and conference member schools are audited? Are they getting a "free ride" in their recruiting and other program operations?

Remember that the NCAA is a membership "club". Liberty couldn't have an FBS program without following the rules of the "club" to which they agreed to join. Well, they could have whatever sports they want, but if they want NCAA opponents, $$, etc. they have to conform to the rules.

I'm not sure what you mean by "audited" in that I don't even know what you would mean by that word in regards to UAB or any other school. They joined NCAA, they abide by the rules. If they are found to have broken those rules they'll be investigated like any other program. If the school itself breaks state/federal laws (e.g., not conforming to LGBQTx regulations) or breaks tenets of whatever accreditation body that allows them to grant degrees, that has nothing to do with sports.

its very simple. Look at Liberty's schedule this year then compare it to BYU. If Liberty goes undefeated they wont make the access bowl. If BYU goes undefeated some will argue they should be considered for a playoff spot and should be a lock for the NYSB. Liberty has a first round pick at QB so they should have a decent shot at going undefeated.
Louisiana, Cincinnati, Memphis and Coastal Carolina are stacked and should be top 25/access bowl material. UCF definitely has the talent for it. Not sure about Troy and to a lesser extent Tulane. Didn't see much from either in 2020 to project they'd make such a leap, although both should be solid in 2021.
