Like many of you, I'm celebrating Mother's Day with my wonderful wife and mother of our two young adults [20 and 18]. It was out of curiosity that I wondered how many on Banter are currently married and for how long. I made a poll to capture the trend and it will show your Banter identity. I figure we can have some fun with it. My wife and I met in our 30s and we will be married 22 years in October. Hard to believe that much time has already passed. I hope and pray for 22 more!
I was married for ten years and divorced now for eleven. June would have marked twenty-two years.

September will be 15 years of marital bliss for my wife and me. I was married to my first wife did four years of hell.

celebrating our 60th at the end of this month
If I'm unmarried, does < 1 apply?
Same as in the Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy. "The answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything is 42."
We'll be celebrating our 56th anniversary in July. We met at Shipleys, and our first date, at Zimmer's Wine Cellar in Norwood, was on the same night in March, 1963 that our Bearcats played for an unprecedented 3rd straight NCAA championship and lost to Loyola of Chicago. We've raised three kids and resided in six states since then.

I’ve officially hit the point where I’ve been married more than 1/2 of the days that I have been on the planet.
Got married in 2000 so I always know what number I'm on.

Smart.

32 glorious years. We met in Kinematics and Dynamics class.
Practice marriage lasted 13 years.
(She attended UC but never graduated)

The real deal is now at 11 years.
(She has her UC degree!)
I'm 34.

Will have been married for ten years as of September.

Both Bearcats. She was originally slated to go to NKU, but I think she became a Bearcat to stalk me around campus.
Almost 5 years
Got Married last June on Zoom after we won a contest and we were legally married by Captain Obvious from Hotels.com. Had a 2nd ceremony and reception less than a month ago since we had most everything paid for by the shut down.

Got married at 32.
20 this June. Both UC grads, though we both started college elsewhere. Best decisions of my life.
Count me among the 42 year crowd. Our first date was as undergraduates at UC with a show @ CCM and a late dinner at Zino's (I still miss that place). UC is still a very big part of our lives for both sports and musical entertainment.
