This board is easy to use

I haven't used Haven in years because I got sick of people hijacking sports threads with political rants. I also had several issues trying to stay logged in.

Personally, I like this site over the 247 site because my username is messed up on that board and I can't change it. If any of the old Haven posters start posting here, I hope they can stick to sports. If they don't hopefully the mods here can remove or move political rants.

Cool, the more conf team fans the better! Start thinking about who you might get to moderate. We have 3 on the ODU forum because it's hard to do it with just a single person. Takes a village. =]

We did it democratically and had folks nominate and then vote.

I just heard that the Haven was back online.
But who knows when it will go out again... I
have posted on the Haven for years all the way back to
the AOL board. But this board is a nice set up as well and
is easy to use

Haven't been the last two years but we sucked. I don't know if Rahne will be able to right the ship in year one but with a new coach and two years sans football there should be some excitement. Tickets shouldn't be too hard to come by and I doubt the 1,000 Western allotment gets sold out.

I'll second that, 3 or 4 mods that will actually stay fairly active. It can be a nightmare at times with less than that.

Anyone taking bets on if this board gets active or not.

Nothing against this board but 247 is much easier to post and use on phone . Pics pain in the ass to post here, not so much on 247. Can grab a Twitter screenshot in a second and post..

What do you need on 247? Now that I am a mod and we have active mods, shouldn’t be hard to change your user name, send me a message..

I check in here regularly, would like to see more action here

Old Time Hilltopper Haven and current 247 Sports Board moderator for WKU.
I plan to drop in this sports season and share/read some posts in this forum.
Not much to say except I am pumped to watch some WKU football.

Bailey Zappe on paper has All-Conference all over him. Let's hope he is the real deal for the Toppers this year. The Topper defense is led by none other than DE DeAngelo Malone.
