I have not had Skyline in over 30 years. Overall, it's not that good IMO. For all the things to think is "Cincinnati" it's colon busting chili and shredded cheese LOL.

Camp Washington is reasonably close to campus, and it's better. Skyline, Gold Star, and their ilk are chain-store stuff.
When I visit Rome I make it a point to speak Roman and eat Skyline Chili.
I'm the weird one who thinks all the Cincinnati chili spots are good and close in taste.
That Skyline is iconic. Best one in the city.

That's definitely true

Especially at 2:00 am. It's also the only one where you feel the chili in the air when you walk in.

Should have gone with a Kewpee burger instead.

I actually can agree with you for once.

I agree they all are good, but they each have their own unique flavor or twist.
I usually go with whichever place is closest when the urge hits me. I just enjoyed 3 with onions and mustard about an hour ago.

I love to get breakfast/brunch at Camp Washington. Eggs & Goetta with a side of hash browns. Give me small bowls of chili and and cheese to put on the hash browns and I'm in heaven.

Mmm, mmm. I wish they sold Camp Washington chili in the stores.

Whenever I'm back in Cincy, I go to Meijer and stock up on cans of Dixie Chili to eat while watching Bearcats games.

I always thought it was because they was the chili pots less often. I love the part that builds up on the side.

Going through Troy today and picking up a to go order of Skyline. Last week we had to go five miles out of our way on the way to Indianapolis to stop at the Skyline Chili is Eaton.

That place is good. But weird as well with the little dolls nailed on the wall over the counter.

We stopped there all the time when commuting between Bridgewater, MI and Minster, OH.

One of the only Skyline Chili's that has caffeine free Diet Pepsi.
I like Skyline's food.
