I love it. Madsen and Saunders our future starting backcourt. Things are looking up now. Hopes Coach Miller can find us some more big men to open things up for these 2 guards.
Gettin’ the band back together. On a mission from God!
He has received some criticism but I really think he could be a solid player for us. Wondering if his brother is reconsidering the move out West.
Ps- if Miller can get Tari Eason back in the fold... then Holy Sh!t!

True we will have back most of the pieces that lost twice to UH by 40. Sensational!

We were spotting them at least 20 pts with Brannen on the bench.

Doesn't matter...he has signed his GIA, so without Utah letting him out of it, there is nothing he can do.
I'm glad he's coming back because as with Saunders, it's just a good look for the program. It says to future recruits that the issue
was the coach, not the school.

However...

I guess I'm agreeing with Doss though that these guys were only about mid-pack level good and even though they showed a little promise near the end, they confirmed that they were in no way even close to Houston... and that's where we need to be.

We still need A LOT more on this team.

Point taken, so we lose by 20.
Still need a stud on the wing and in the front court. It’s still better to have some of the key role players back than trying to find studs and role players in the portal.

I'm with you. I am glad to have them back, but they are not feature players. These guys might get the team on the bubble if well coached, but we need a couple of studs to get off the bubble (in the right direction).
I just look at this as talent coming in the door, when for the better part of the last year, only the opposite has been true. Thats why I'm happy with it.
These guys were major contributors as freshman. There's a reason the adage in college hopes for most programs is "get old, stay old". I think they can be key players on tournament teams. I mostly like our talent for guard/ wing though I really want a wing conspiracy creator with size. We are pretty bare bones inside though. That's where you're roster needs a major overhaul.
I get a feeling Madsen is Miller's type of player. Time will tell.

He's definitely working on it. IMO with the public comments he's making about it, he thinks there's a good shot. I would think Miller would remain quiet if the chances were slim.

Quote:"We want Tari Eason," Miller told The Enquirer on Friday. "I've watched a ton of tape. I want to coach Tari Eason. I think the things that Tari Eason can do will fit really well into what we're trying to do here moving forward. I'd like to be able to go out and meet with him and his family. I'm working hard to set that up."

Sources told The Enquirer that Miller is traveling to Los Angeles this weekend to meet with Eason.
