Staff and coaching changes, not just assistant coaches.

Lord help us
Here is the news:

Video Coord Mallison is headed to SC State to be an assistant coach under Madlock. Although video coordinator may not sound like an extremely flashy title, Mallison had an important role within the staff at Memphis. Penny wanted him to stay but he wants to be a coach.

GRADUATE ASSISTANT MARDRACUS WADE is also heading to SC State with Madlock as an assistant coach

Former Cincinnati offensive lineman Jakari Robinson was one of Memphis' top options in the transfer portal, but the American Athletic Conference wouldn't allow him to transfer within the conference. After he heard that news, Robinson committed to Arkansas State and has now decommitted from Arkansas State on Tuesday night because AAC is eliminating the inter-conf transfer restrictions. Look for Robinson to commit to Memphis in the next couple of days. Big get.

I’m excited about Jakari. Can’t have too much talent on the O line.

We had a coach once that waxed poetically about going to The Big Dance as a video coordinator as a pregame pep talk. It was broadcast on nationally television. As our president might say, "It's a big f**king deal".
I can't imagine President Rudd saying something like that.

Maybe he meant the president of his homeowner association....

It took me a second reread on the Jakari Robinson part. I was wondering why an offensive lineman was transferring to play for Penny. 03-lmfao
It wouldn't shock me if Cody Topper left. Penny threw him under the bus several times this past season.

Yes, maybe he was speaking in third person?

If by several times you mean never even once, you are correct.

1:17 mark. From my first childhood hero, Jackie Fargo, a great American.
