Do not know what it is about Philadelphia and video review but there was a video review in the Phillies/Braves game that made the blown call in the Temple/Tigers game look tame.
This wasn't even disputable. Phillie player came home and there was a play at the plate. The ump called him safe saying he got his front foot in before the tag.
The Braves challenged and New York looked at the play. One angle showed clearly that the runner's foot went above the plate and never touched it. It was almost ground level and you see the foot in the air before it reached the plate and it never came back down. Ray Charles could see this.
But MLB upheld the call on the field.
