I saw zero improvement from Moussa… other than from the FT line.
He is what he is. Let’s see where he projects out in the upcoming draft.

Ya, he was a great shot blocker for us last year. It is not like that is new to him this year. He just was and still is extremely limited offensively.

I would not trade him for Duren, I know that...

Jalen Duren is a lottery pick… a top 10 overall.
Moussa likely will not be drafted. The two are not really comparable.

Duren has great hands while Cisse has hands of stone. Duren has probably been playing much longer however.

Duren is very coordinated offensively, but he has horrible hands.

He loses the ball a lot with minimal contact. He has soft hands when he shoots but his hands aren't strong at all.

His hands are great. It’s just that he keeps the ball low after catching it rather than taking it up with force.

The team has been able to throw him many different types of passes to him that they couldn’t to Cisse. Of course, they both excel with the lob at the rim. In both of the past two seasons our team went on a roll when they started playing unselfishly on the dribble drive and would throw up a well-timed lob. This started opening up more space for our 3 point shooters and Nolley, Quinones, and Harris have all found form.

Duren is also hands down (no pun intended) better at free throws than Cisse. Almost twice as good percentage wise. He stays out of foul trouble, and we don’t need to rely on Dandrigde, we can make a deep run.

The great Keith Lee--rarely if ever brought the ball down ---even on offensive rebounds he would shoot without bring it down ---Lee was probably the best I have seen at that

If there was a player I wish Penny would have kept.. Damion Baugh is killing it at TCU.

What role would Baugh play on this team? Where would his minutes come from?

He is 10X better than last year. He would have probably grabbed some of Lomax and LQ's minutes, as well as almost all of Timberlake's. He would have for sure taken Harris' minutes at the beginning of the season, and maybe he doesn't get the opportunity and doesn't emerge the way he has.

He is the exact same player he was last year.
I mean almost exactly.
Look at his stats and his per 40 mins.
Almost identical.

Most of us actually said we thought he would take a step forward this year. He really didn't though.

The draft announcement was predictable.
Announcing and putting on the team cap are 2 different things.

I looked at his stats. Did you?

Sure - hence the comment.

stat - Mem - OSU
Minutes - 18.6 - 20.0
FG made - 2.9 - 2.8
FG % - 55.2 - 55.9
FT % - 32.4 - 56.2 (the only true area of improvement - still bad)
Reb - 6.3 - 6.5
Block - 1.6 - 1.9
Pts - 6.6 - 7.2

He's the same guy. He just improved his FTs from historically worst, to bad.
Like I said, most of us thought he would improve much more.

I haven't seen him play. I just don't see a place for him here. True, he could take Timberlake's minutes. Of course, Timberlake was supposed to have had a much higher ceiling. And Tyler's. Then we don't get to enjoy Tyler like we have.

I’ve seen Baugh play multiple times running the point.. He would have killed it this year here but we all know that wouldn’t have happened with the current situation..

Lomax shoots 29% from 3, and people lose it because he can't shoot.
Baugh shoots 27% from 3, and he would kill it here.

Lomax turns it over 3.5 times per 40, and people lose it because he's out of control.
Baugh turns it over 4.2 times per 40, and he would kill it here.

Lomax creates 6.1 assists per 40, and people lose it because he's just no good.
Baugh creates 5.5 assists per 40, and he would kill it here.

Had 17 yesterday beating Texas hitting 3-4 from 3 and 6-8 from the line while playing 36 minutes.

Baugh put the work in last summer. He got much stronger and improved his left hand. Even though he didn't shoot much better, he was a much better player this year because of it.
