Some of this is going to be outside the control of the teams. In some markets, there may be complete shutdowns in place (California), while others the local government will limit capacity. If fans will be allowed in, I have a feeling we will see fewer fans over the age of 65 in most venues.
In my market (Cincinnati) all reports are that season ticket sales are up from the last “normal” season (2019). The Bearcats return 16 starters from the Peach Bowl team, along with HC Luke Fickell. UC FB is the only team winning in the city right now (this includes the pro teams).

Well, the Texas Rangers might tell us something about the last question, as they announced they are allowing 100% attendance. Their first regular season home game is this Monday, April 5. IIRC, no social distancing is required but masking is unless eating.
I suspect attendance will be significantly lower than in 2019, at least initially until everyone is vaccinated, because some will likely not want to attend out of fear of the virus.
Cuse didn't raise pricing and in fact there is 7 games in '21 vs 6 last year...so prices actually went down.
2019 was a banner attendance year but I think we'll see a drop of 3-5000 in '21.

Fall 2021 will go back to mostly normal. It's estimated that at least 75% of adults will have been fully vaccinated by then, mostly refusniks left. It's looking likely that you'll need a vaccination "passport" to attend large events. Despite some push back from certain governors and politicians, I think it will have broad support because a very large majority of people will have been vaccinated and will want to be able to go where they want, and will say screw the hold outs -- pretty much the same sentiment as people have on parents who want to enroll their kids in school but refuse to vaccinate them.
But I think attendance will be down. Some people found other things to fill their time other than sports, and a year or two of youth focusing on sports was lost. Probably 10% across the board is a good guess. Successful programs down less, as usual.

Personally I think attendance will suffer. People have gotten out of the habit, and it will take a while for many to get back into attending. Your team better be good this year, or it will have a tough time attendance wise.
TCU is keeping prices the same this year. They did open the new suite and club seat section last year. Of course with attendance at 25%, there we plenty of seats available. The suites are all sold.
Effects of COVID are TBD, Memphis PR seems centered around achieving R1 status in the fall.
Expect to see a giant increase in the use of E-tickets. Ticket holders will have to provide proof of vaccine or negative covid test to gain entry. Proof will be linked to your E-ticket.

But in the more important values sense, what we should care about. It's about the vaccine, and we are vaccinating over 3 million people a day. At that rate we will have the vast majority vaccinated within a matter of months.
If some don't want to get the vaccine, that's their business, they are exposing themselves, well, as much as we can say someone is exposing themselves to a weak virus that kills about 1 in 300 infected, and far lower than that if you aren't over 80 years old. And if you want to say "well they are also possibly exposing those who are vulnerable" well the vulnerable are getting vaccines so not a problem.
We should be good to go for football.
We underperformed last year and had COVID concerns on top of that. Historically, we don't come out in droves for football even in good years. I do expect attendance to improve this coming season. Our coaching staff has a "win now" attitude and has infused the team with experienced talent across the board.
UCF announced we are 90% sold out of season tickets for next year.

That works out to 1.8%, or 1 in 55 -- far from your estimate of 1 in 300 (almost 6X worse). If you're going to quote stats, at least try to be accurate - there's been too much misinformation floating around already.

The total number of cases IMHO is much higher as many were asymptomatic.

If your numbers are accurate (and it seems they are), thanks for the clarification. I read Quo's post and thought the numbers might have been off a bit.
