Stan Albeck, a lifer as Greg Popovich put it passed away recently at 89. Former HC at NMU, Bradley, Spurs, Nets, Bulls, Lakers and asst many other spots he touched many. Suffering from a stroke 19 years ago he had struggled significantly particularly as he aged.

Was also HC at Kent State for about ten minutes.

Took the job in 1974 but left before coaching a game to be an assistant to Hubie Brown with Kentucky Colonels of ABA.
