Has anyone heard anything about what is going on with that kid Robert Lane, the highly-touted QB that backed out of LSU to sign with us? I looked on our website, but can't find any news on him. I don't know what his status was as far as joining the team, but I don't see him on our Spring roster or anything.
Did something happen with him and I was just under a rock somewhere, or was it a quiet deal, or is he still planning on playing for us, or what? I have heard nothing on this kid since signing day!!!

He would not be on this roster until this fall, like all other incoming Seniors out of high school.

10Man, have you been on the Southern Sports Tonight board lately? My goodness, some of those folks have lost their minds. There are a few Ole Miss supporters that embarrass me.....I wish they would just go away.
A couple must be atheist or just plain ignorant or both.

As far as I know, his intentions are still to come to Ole Miss in the fall. Haven't heard anything about his MLB baseball playing though...
I sure hope he does....he can help both teams. We are going to need a really good one when Eli is gone.

No sir, I haven't been there in a while.....mainly for that reason. And I think I know who you're talking about. They were quite the embarrassment. In fact, every school in the SEC, as I recall, is represented by a couple of academically-challenged and very dense folks over there.

For a little while, I enjoyed posting there. Now, it is a nightmare with a really amusing post now and then......I'm sick of it and will confine myself to this board when we get closer to FOOTBALL SEASON!

A guy called Bulldawg Rick (UGA) posted an article about Archie. Rick is a real classy guy. Come out with some pretty good posts, etc. Usually very positive and doesn't flame anyone. Like to read his comments and a "few" others.....other wise it has started sucking like a milking machine.

Yeah I've always liked Bulldog Rick. He's a regular caller into that show, and he always has nothing but nice things to say about every team, for the most part. His posts over there kinda echo his tone on the radio. Good guy!
Good guy, good sense of humor and seems to know his stuff. He would have made a good Rebel!
