Both the ACC and the PAC 12 are rumored to be looking at Adding Houston ... Which way do you think they should jump ..?? Who do you think they should help recruit to “ Balance “ the Conference Schedule ..???

Are you trying to start that rumor? I seriously doubt that there is anything behind the "rumor" but someone's "hope". But if it is even somewhat true, I would doubt Houston would have a "choice". If they can tag-a-long with another school to any conference, they should take the first offer before someone comes to their senses. [They may have some Big12 hopes though, if some school(s) leaves.]
The AREA within 50 miles of Houston is one of the most talent rich in the entire Nation ... ALL Conferences have manu alumni in the Houston area that would LOVE seeing their Alma Mater When the teams cone to town .. BOTH the PAC and the ACC would love the option of scheduling in the Central time Zone ..!!

What I think is that you made up that rumor on your own and that you aren't even a TCU fan.

Guessing a UH fan. Did a quick glance over at Coogfan.com and wouldn’t you know there is a thread where someone is talking about how UH would be a great option for those two conferences.
Houston is located in Americas Fourth Largest City ...And is Right in the Middle of one of the Very best recruiting areas in the Nation ..for BOTH Athletes and Students..

LOL, I cant speak for the PAC, but no one in the ACC is talking about adding Houston. Not on the ACC board, and certainly no one in the ACC offices. There are folks on the ACC board who have contacts in the ACC and no one has mentioned any of this.
why not SMU too? I mean they are located in one of the top recruiting grounds in the nation, DFW. Or is that not enough? Private school in SMU and a glorified community college in Houston would make a terrific addition for the ACC or PAC, great suggestion.

Ridiculous....
Ok I will play

IF Houston had a choice between joining the ACC or joining the PAC, they obviously should join the ACC.

Houston is on the SE corner of Texas. It sits in the Central Time zone. Distance wise nothing is close either way, but the ACc schools are closer and play in the eastern time zone. Same reason Houston chose Conference USA over the WAC back in the day.
Have we not figured out yet that Cowboy Frog only makes troll posts?
In the current climate, Houston seems properly aligned to a conference (AAC) in terms of their national university rankings, purpose, and peers. I do agree that they also fit in with some current P5 schools, but not the upper crust. They should be in conference with schools like Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Colorado State, San Diego State, Mississippi State, UCF, USF, Memphis, etc. If/when the big dogs, which are mainly the state flagship schools, realize their valuation together and create their own league, I think Houston will join that next tier, whether you want to call it "state", "little brother", or whatever.

I look at bigblueblindness's list and I think most of those schools are at the same level and yet some of those schools are at a different level than others whether it's because of historical reasons or political reasons.
