I'll watch the Who Dey's with Joe Burrow at the helm, but that's it. Haven't watched a super bowl in 4 years and I'm a fan of Tom Brady (still find it a waste of my time).

My interest in all sports besides college football has become about zilch and doesn't have much to do with politics. Just a matter of growing up I guess, but the ratings decline is well documented and many reports the last couple of weeks about the networks including Disney's CEO thought their original offers were ridiculous. Only reason I know is because investment news.

That is true.

Still, that doesn’t mean that the NFL will simply vanish overnight. The decline will be measured over a span of years/decades.

You know America is in a strange place when far left acolytes are celebrating the NFL getting a new TV deal.

The kneeling and social justice warrioring doesn’t even bother me, but I have steadily watched less sports of all varieties the older I’ve gotten. It has just been so in my face for so many years it has just become white noise. I used to put off activities to watch sports and now sports takes a backseat to actually going out and spending my time with people that matter in my life.

I have not watched sports for several years now. Have not missed it.

But...If you are a nerd like me may I suggest BattleBots. So far no politics. It is a bunch of remote controlled bots trying to kill each other in 3 minutes or less.

When my son and I had covid we binged watched the latest season. I have loved that show since it was on comedy central 20 years ago and I'm glad my son enjoys it.
