Jarvis Greer is a great guy and kind of an institution here, along with being a former Tiger and CBHS alum.
He was out with prostate cancer, as he indicated on air last night, and after a long and successful process, is back and cancer free! Great news for a great guy. Thought it was worthy of a mention.
Good news for Jarvo and family.
Had no idea. I have always thought the world of Jarvis. I rejoice in his good news and pray for his continued good health!
Such a nice guy... God bless him!

Absolutely - Jarvo is an amazing person - so glad he's back and healthy!
That's some good news.
Thanks for sharing, because I missed this story.
I think a lot of Jarvis and love the energy he brings to all his broadcasts.
When he stepped away from doing Tigers football this year, the excuse was due to COVID quarantines. It seems that was only half the story.
Glad to have him back!
I was wondering where he has been. That is great news, I love Jarvo!
That is great news!
Had a great conversation with Jarvo walking back from the Motor City Bowl to the hotel years ago.

Same here -- then rationalized it was related to all the other stuff going on this past year and let it go. Oddly, something personal never across my mind.

Amen!
If I'm remembering it correctly, there was a legendary radio call with Big Jack and Jarvo, I want to say early 80's, when we won at Vandy. Does anyone else recall that?

Jarvis Greer is a true blue fan and a great guy. I can’t think of another media guy that goes to out of town games as a fan when they are not on the company dime
