This has been said a lot before those other two championship games and it applies to this one as well: It's hard to beat a good team three times in a season. NMSU did it and I believe GCU can do it this time. This isn't the same Aggie team GCU faced earlier on in the season, but the same applies to GCU. This is going to be a helluva game that will be talked about for awhile.
The Texas4 teams need develop some new rivalries with teams from the west division. Which team has the most obnoxious fan base —GCU or NMSU? Need to know who to root for and against.

Depends on what you consider obnoxious? I equate GCU's festivities as a dance club atmosphere at their games; a lot bright lights, state of the art sound system, and the student doing choreographed dance moves all dressed the same; all the bells and whistles. Where as NMSU is half nursing home half dive bar; with a live band playing to pump up the crowd. I'm not sure if the grouchy old people or the drunk college kids cusses more at the games?

Agreed! I am glad we are facing the Aggies. Win or lose it should be a great game. Go Lopes!
This is probably the strongest GCU team to date. Drew did a good job bringing in players who could fill most of last year's team deficiencies. On the other hand, this is not one of Jans strongest Aggie teams; player development and team chemistry wise. Jans has done a masterful job of coaching up this group of Aggies. This is GCU's best chance at upending NMSU's dominance; if only for a year. CSUB's rein over the WAC was short lived.

Yes, it is. I've got GCU by alot tonight. I hope I'm wrong; I'd very much appreciate a close and entertaining finale, but from what I've seen so far, it ain't gonna happen. Also predicting a record-breaking 12-pager excuse thread.
