We host UNA at 6 pm on Wednesday.

We also host the Blazer Classic this weekend. Here’s the games we play in:
Thursday - Ball State at 5 pm
Friday - Samford at 5 pm & Southern Illinois at 7:30 pm.
Saturday - Southern Illinois at 4 pm & Ball State at 6:30 pm.

Softball won against UNA 4-1.

UAB leads Ball State 3-0 after 1 inning. We were able to get bases loaded with no outs and 2 of those runs were walked in.

We scored 2 more runs in the 2nd and none in the 3rd. Leading Ball State 5-0.

Going into the 7th inning. UAB leads 6-3.

UAB won 6-3. Couple of great plays by Freshman Olivia Valbak while playing SS (Valbak was also the closing pitcher).

Friday, we beat Samford 2-0 & lost to Southern Illinois 1-6. On Saturday, UAB beat SIU 1-0 in 9 innings & beat Ball State 12-6. Going into Saturday, SIU was essentially 27th in the polls & had a 25-game winning streak dating back to last year. With these games, UAB improved to 13-10 overall.
