BEST AND WORST COACH
1.Drove me crazy,Bobby Wilder. Very smart man, master salesman. Over thought a lot, though. Mister on side kick or go for it on 4th down on your own 23, otherwise perfect choice to build the football team. What about you?
Nobody has commented on football. We have 6 or 7 guys in the nfl. 10 years ago if I had said that we would have several players in nfl you would have said I was crazy. I know someone who knew RR in PA and he reiterated that RR is special and says he will do fantastic things as coach. We are on the precipice of something fantastic. The man can recruit and I can't wait to see who he ultimately puts on this list.
I'd add Nick Mayers to that offense.
Don’t forget Larry Pinkard on the offense
Add David Born to that list. He earned it in spades. And while you are at it, add Nick Clarke. He was the anchor of our O-line.

Times changing fast. How i forgot Born and Morrell. That was a solid OL we had back in the day albeit an FCS one.

Love this list, as makes me think of some great football Saturdays. Mayers was key to TH's success, so agree he should be there. Washington should be on the list, just maybe a bit lower. Does LaRussa get any credit for that game vs Tech (and WKU ending)? On defense, Craig Wilkins was a absolute stud. I'd move him up a bit.

Agree with all that. When i think about Washington and LaRussa it makes me that much mad at Whitcomb. Craig Wilkins is a special dude for sure.
This list had me remember the first game against Chowan, when Bobby alternated between DeMarco and Cooper. I rmember being excited for Cooper because he had the "look". But boy was I glad we went with DeMarco full time after a few games
Also, it's crazy to me that Plisco never got any NFL looks. I know TH took away 4th downs and would stay on the field for a fake or a QB punt as time went on but man he had a leg. I remember seeing him walking a trail in Fairfax a few years ago while I was ironically wearing an ODU shirt, and really wondered what he was doing there instead of at a teams practice facility
