WOW!!!!! WHAT A TEAM. I hated leaving Kelly Lyons,Tia Lewis,Jan Trombley and Celeste Hill out. So many outstanding players. Thoughts?
You can’t move people to other positions to make them fit.

Medina Dixon was a 4 who played the 5 sometimes also.

Claxton was a 3. Period.

I’m pretty sure Cotman played the 3. She was 5’10” and could jump thru the roof. Dunked in practice. Not sure if ever in a game. Easily the single most athletic player in Lady Monarch history.

Inge & Clarisse were both centers. Inge played a 4/5 her SR year because of Annie.

Merry Andrade over all your SGs everyday of the week and 10 times on Sunday.

If I remember right Andrade was a 3
Cotman was the 2. Trombley was the 3
Now that I think about dixon you are probably right there. I was thinking her and claxton both were forwards. Maybe then put Andrade in her place. Good eye, but Cotman was the 2

Cotman played the 3 and some (2) in the 2nd National title season cause Jan sat out the season with a knee injury. Other teams had bigger 3s but few could keep up with Angela. They could afford to go with Cotman at the 3 because of the twin towers inside, Inge and Annie. Rhonda Rampoly (spell) also played a lot at the 3 that year also.

Claxton was 6’0”, Dixon was 6’3”.

Wonder whatever ultimately happened to Pam Parsons, the firebrand who sold Lieberman on coming to ODU. She was an interesting character. She went to coach at South Carolina after ODU. After that, who knows. ...
You know I got to thinking about this list and Jim Jarrett bares a mention. He is the man who had the foresight to revolutionize the women's game and we should be proud of what has transpired over the years in this program. Truly legendary
Parsons had multiple relationships with players. Caused her to get fired at S Carolina.

After her freshman season Nancy walked into Jarrett’s office and said, “either Pam goes or I go!”
