He is fun to watch. Great anticipation and court awareness. Uses his body strength well and positioning. Reminds me a little of Donnell Thomas as an undersized rebounder. He has a good turnaround fade away jumper.
I’d love to see him improve his free throw shooting as he should get to the line a lot. He also needs to improve his outside shooting which would allow him to drive the lane more which is his strength.
Sure hope he stays.

Every lousy team has a leading scorer. Comparing Cochran to German is delusional. Would love to see Cochran stay and improve, but as Huskie fans we can't go overboard. Lamar Chapman's efforts aside, Monty nearly returned the program to Ricardo Patten level.

And implying Cochran might be good only because NIU sucks is ridiculously absurd given that NIU wasn't great the 4 years German was here either. Wouldn't the same apply!
P.S. Cochran (sophomore) is now averaging 19+ points per game the last 4 games. German in his SENIOR year averaged 20.5 points.
P.P.S I also compared (sophomore) Cochran's rebounding stats to (senior) Lacey James rebounding stats. Cochran is a much much better rebounder than German, if rebounds matter at all!
P.P.P.S. Cochran's Field Goal percentage is a full 5 points higher than German's. Contemplate THAT stat when you sober up. If only Cochran would take as many shots as German per game!!!
