I was hoping for bats but I LOVE that our pitchers and defense won this for us.

Not going to lie I almost feel bad for there pitcher playing like he did and his offense didn't help him at all.

Sheewww. Gutted out a win. Bad news is we had to use Hartline for 2+ bc of Gregory injury. Hes probably out tomorrow so pen will be stretched a bit. Need a long outing from Moore.


The possible positive is maybe Gregory can come back if we have a game 4

We better wake up the bats. SC threw their best pitcher vs BooHoos today so whoever throws tomorrow should be hittable as long as we keep out bats warm.

Outstanding game by our pitching staff and field. After the 3 runs, absolutely nothing. I thought our strength was our offense. Our pitching came to play today. Kudos to them! They saved the day....
On to tomorrow. As already said, let's get the bats rocking tomorrow! Go Monarchs!

Maybe comparable to a #2 seed in the NCAA hoops tourney barely beating a #15 seed. Perhaps they pressed a bit tonight and now they can play loose tomorrow in front of a hostile crowd. Perhaps the Monarchs got their "sub par" game out of the way and now we will see a dynamic team play against USC.
