That is really freaking cool.

Thought it was cool how we led all batting categories. Hopefully the bats hold against the better pitching and fielding of SC.

In case anyone else did not know and is interested. I looked it up, and the ten run rule is not allowed in the regionals or the world series.

I've always liked the way the OD logo looks on the uniforms and hats too. Very collegiate. Anyone know the history on why baseball has its own look apart from the rest of the athletics department? Seems like the shield would look good on the sleeve or something, and tie it in to the overall program.

Im not 100% sure its related but in the early 80s, ODU honored Bud Metheny by switching to NY Yankee style pinstripes bc of his experience with the Yankees. Maybe it ties in with the unis.

That is exactly correct. But it was Bud himself that did it.

I put blinders on and just root for Virginia squads. I'll think about if I root for vcu tonight.

I do for most, but I have exceptions for Liberty and VCU. Screw them.

This pitcher from SC is nowhere near the plate and complaining about every ball call. Having said that, I hope he throws a ton of innings today, the start got injured.

I hope they don't ever change it. All of our other logo's would look stupid on a baseball uniform, especially compared to what they have now.

Abbott is killing SC right now. Glad theyre playing him now.
