Michigan purges voter rolls of 177,000 names after the election.

Michigan Removed 177,000 Voters from Voter Rolls in January After Certifying Biden Won Michigan by 154,000 Votes in November

Quote:The Michigan secretary of state removed 177,000 inactive voters from the state’s voter rolls after settling a legal challenge.

The stateremoved the names from the voter rolls in late January because the voters no longer live in the state or did not respond to the state’s inquiries about their addresses, according to a Tuesday district court announcement. The state performed the post-election audit during a legal battle with the Honest Elections Project, an election watchdog.

And this is exactly why Democrats oppose cleaning up voter rolls across the country.
Most of them probably voted too
How convenient to wait until well after the election to do this, but it's no surprise. I suspect I'm still on the voter rolls in Indiana despite not having lived there for years. I even got an email from "my new representative" yesterday.

And ALL for Biden!

FWIW - When Michigan sent out mail-in applications to all voters, 500,000 of them were returned to the state because the recipient died or had moved.

Not aware of anyone opposed to removing dead or nonresidents from any state voter rolls as long as they actually left the state or the earth.

And you just proved an ongoing valid reason why mail in voting is not good and ripe for fraud.

How many didnt get sent back across the country?

And were then filled out for Biden. Great. So there's 500k more fraudulent votes. Thanks for the input.

Were any of those returned 500,000 mail-ins used in the election?

Stacey Abrams and all the Democrats do.

In fact, what Michigan did is REQUIRED by federal law. Its ridiculous that non-profits have to sue the states to do what they are legally required to do.

The google search "democrats oppose cleaning up voter rolls" turned up pages of examples, like:

Senate Democrats Refuse to Clean Up Voter Rolls

The Messy Politics of Voter Purges
Quote:A Democratic-backed bill that passed the U.S. House earlier this year would, among other things, ban voter purging.

Court blocks planned purge of more than 200,000 people from a swing state’s voter rolls
Quote:The six-person election commission had been split evenly along partisan lines, the Republicans voting in favor of the purge and the Democrats voting against it. In a meeting on Tuesday, commissioners again disagreed — 3 to 3 — about how to respond.

“It’s a Republican-Democrat issue,” said Republican commissioner Robert Spindell, according to a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel account of the meeting. “The Dems like to have huge numbers of people on the list and the Republicans like to have clean lists and that’s a problem that I don’t think we’ll be able to overcome.”

The Partisan Conflict Behind A Quest To Purge Up To 800,000 Voters From PA's Rolls

U.S. top court backs Ohio voter purge; Democrats blast ruling
Quote:“This wrongly decided decision paves the way to mass disenfranchisement in Ohio and around the country,” top House of Representatives Democrat Nancy Pelosi added.

Fight over purging vs. accuracy of voter rolls arrives in battleground Pa.
Quote:Republicans argue that properly maintaining the lists is not only a federal mandate but also helps prevent election fraud. Democrats generally oppose these efforts, which they say are too often partisan crusades to suppress the vote and end up improperly disenfranchising eligible voters.

Wisconsin appeals court puts voter rolls purge on hold
Quote:A Wisconsin appeals court on Tuesday put on hold an order to immediately remove up to 209,000 names from the state’s voter registration rolls, handing Democrats who had fought the move a victory in the battleground state.

Republicans Are Trying to Kick Thousands of Voters Off the Rolls During a Pandemic
Something else I learned from posting the links above... long before the 2020 election after the Dems came up with the "mail-in ballots for all" scheme the exact counties which were pivotal in the presidential election were the counties targeted by court cases calling for them to clean up their rolls.

Democrats opposed cleanups. In fact, several of those counties had historically REFUSED to follow federal law to apply even the minimally required maintenance.

This tells me -- and further reaffirms my belief -- that Dems had been using these counties all along to sway elections and Republicans had been aware of it.

I state again, with more conviction than ever, claims of democrat majority can not be trusted. Swollen voter rolls not properly maintained claiming a surplus of registered democrats are not to be trusted.

No clown show...those were applications that were not delivered to a voter, but rather returned to the state.

I only looked at the first link, but that is not for the same thing as was done in Michigan!

Geez.

Those rolls were not purged of dead or voters that had moved...but rather inactive voters. Apples and oranges.

But please...provide more links to other topics.
