but I'm not sure he has earned the right to hold the ball and try to win it with a last second "3". Josh Hagins, yes. Markquis Nowell, yes. Solomon Bozeman, yes. I guess I would be singing a different tune if his shot went in, instead of "in and out". But, at home, with their, big guy fouled out, the play should be to get the ball to Nikola inside- he will score, get fouled, or both. I guess we could argue all night if we should have called a time-out to set up the play. But, CJ hasn't been around long enough to have it all come down to him.
My problem was that he had Maric on the block and chose to dribble the whole 9 seconds and launch a 3 instead of getting the ball to Nicola or Ruot.
No time out....letting him shoot the shot....here's a coach that's just marking time and cashing a check. Walker needs to get on with his life's work because being a D1 coach isn't it.

Very good points. And like the second game @ Texas State, this team sleepwalks into a huge deficit, then turns it on to make it all up and take the lead, only to lose. Strangest scenario I’ve seen in a while.
I’ve said this before, Walker coaches like he is still in the NBA at times.

"Sleepwalks" is a good word; Karl described us a "listless". That's how we look for a large part of the game, until we finally wake up. Both times, it was too little too late.
