Meaningless at this point but I checked out our offer/prospect List on a couple of sites.

Observations:

Not afraid of 4-5 stars.
As usual we are hitting LA hard. Heavy.
Looks like we have increased attention in Ark.
Several high rated MI kids on the lists.
TN list is thin. Memphis is light.

It’s early. Few commits by any for any team. 0 for us

Is that Michigan (MI) or Mississippi (MS)? I was very happy with (2) consecutive tailbacks from Mississippi (#8 and #19).

Union man,
Never mentioned the name of a recruit we r after, even if it's merely a dream.
Possibility TIGERNATION is working on this young man
U need to lay low

Why would it be only a possibility that TIGERNATION is working on this young man.

Why does he need to lay low ---if TIGERNATION is working on the young man--wouldn't the young man know it already ?
Of course he would know, it's the competition we want to think we haven't a chance while we work
On his recruiting.
Probably every major program in the country would like to have the young man in their program.
TIGERNATION must work behind the scene and promote the Joy's of staying home and the Memphis
Players now doing well in the NFL.
Nice list of offers.

I am sure it would shock the rest of college football to find out Memphis is trying to convince a 5* player to stay home and play for us...
5 *'s out of Memphis typically go for those bags of cash from the SEC.
You fools need to learn how to LAY LOW!

Let Ike do his thing. He's working hard on the streets for TIGERNATION and deserves a little more respect from you chuckleheads.
Oruvoice,
U Sir know how knowledge gleaned from the street works, it's a long tedious process and Ike is
Disappointed many times.
Ike is taking a break from the street, IKE's dedication, sources and late nite rendezvous are not appreciated.
Ike feels it necessary to take a sabbatical. Ike will always be a proud member of TIGERNATION and may return to the street after some R and R.
Ike plans on following and commenting, he'll be laying low.
Ike will leave everyone with one more nugget from the street, IKE's sources say TIGERNATION will be getting one more quality transfer, possibly from utk. GTG
Switch him to offensive line.
Memphis has no shot at Walter Nolan.

IMO, when TW was on his last legs before packing it in, this is what did him in. It is great to go after highly ranked players. There is no doubt we are getting through the front door, when we had virtually no access before that. The problem is devoting a lot of resources and man hours to recruiting these players and then finishing 2nd or 3rd.

It is for sure a great feeling to go from an instant no thank you, to being able to spend time with these recruits. When push comes to shove, most are going to go to bigger schools. The skill is in being very selective and determining which 4* recruits you have a legitimate shot at.

When I started my career in sales in my early twenties, I learned a very important lesson that has stuck with me to this day. Getting a yes right away is amazing, but it is almost equally great being told no right away. You don't waste valuable resources and time on something you have a low percentage of closing.

It is the maybe's that kill you.
