The former Tigers mens soccer coach passed away monday at the age of 69.
A prayer for family sent
Prayer to the family and friends....
.
He was a good guy & really knew his stuff.

My youngest daughter played for him in Middle & High School at Briarcrest.

He understood the differences between playing Club & High School Soccer

69 is getting younger every year. Was this sudden or a long-term illness?

Blessing and good memories to the family.

actually, it never gets old
RIP always a Tiger.
My son played club for Germantown Legends where Chris was the club director. He was such a nice man and would always make time to talk to you. He loved the game of soccer and loved being around kids and young adults. He’ll absolutely be missed in the soccer community.

I was told that early that day he took someone from home to drop off somewhere & returned home & had a massive Heart Attack.

He lived right near Baptist Hospital in Collierville.

I think that is my brother who has no shirt on Chris is looking at. My brother and several other players were on a club team that Chris coached for many years so when Chris was asked to build first Memphis State men's soccer team they all joined but there were no scholarships. Chris was a tough coach but they liked him. He was a good soccer coach. Sad to hear his passing.
I don't think the Men's team has been in the NCAAs since he left.
