What’s the point? Getting the rest of the bench PT? To make up for the loss of a home game, due to GT cancellation?

This seems completely unnecessary.

I remember hearing on Coach AK’s show, he mentioned a game like this was to get Quan more reps as he recovers...

Yeah what is the point of this? Meaningless game that risks injuries on a team that plays a frustratingly short bench

Maybe the bench gets to play

its a small college in Mississippi. could be a favor for a friend.

I see it as a great opportunity to give the bench some playing time. I think that the recent injuries underscore a need for more depth.

Could very well be, as it's just a bit north of Oxford.

Also, it helps out an HBCU that probably can use the money for the short road trip.
