NIU will play at Ball State on Monday, Feb. 8 at 1 p.m. This game was originally scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 20.

Down 25-7 after 1 vs Bowling Green at home. Sheesh. Just a brutal start.

Need to correct my own glaring error ... NIU won that game at BGSU 78-71. And it was 16-16 after one quarter. Since that game the Falcons are 5-1. This time around ... oh, wow, and not a good wow.

25-15 with 5:19 left in the second. niu had a 10-0 run.

42-25 halftime. Just a dud of a game

57-52 end 3. Woke up at halftime. I’m sure there wasn’t much adjusting just some words to improve the effort.

Helluva comeback from the Huskies! Take the W. Have to defend home turf.

Final: 79-78. Huskies win! Record is now 9-6.

The team was really excited and pumped after coming back from a 20-point deficit early in Q3. This is a very good team that works well together and is having fun. They are a fun group to watch. The ladies in Coach Carlsen's teams seem to genuinely like each other.

Covid-19 situation at EMU, so Feb. 10 game there postponed, per official website. Postponed Ball State game now Monday Feb. 8. That leaves both postponed Kent State games and now EMU (3 games) to make up, if possible.

Wow, that's a helluva comeback. Congrats to the team.

Really good win for the ladies. Koker is a monster. 30+ points, 93% from the free throw line. This team seems to be really deep. Carlson has really turned them around since they made the NIT a few years ago. I hope they continue to be successful.
