He was active on the bench cheering his teammates and he had a very nice dunk last night.

We have 6'11", 6'8", 6'7" and 6'6" coming in next year, maybe he knows no one inside will be leaving? Will Covid give Williams another year?

I saw him mentoring DJ yesterday after DJ had a bad stretch...

Looked like he was being a good teammate.

But I understand wanting to play.

Does entering mean leaving immediately ? or at the end of the 2nd semester ?

I wonder if he is on track to graduate by May, thus being able to transfer and play immediately next year for a new team, while finishing up this year playing for us, providing depth if need be ...

If he announced right now I would assume he is leaving now...Else why announce now when you can announce in March.

He could get more playing time elsewhere. I guess how much playing time depends on where.

COVID gives EVERYONE another year, if they want it.
Last year was a freebie in basketball. This year was a freebie in football.

Not surprising. He has been one player that has consistently seen low minutes. I wish him well wherever he lands. Lance has to learn to play to his strengths and that is not hanging out around the three point line.

We leaned heavily on Lance last season. If his one handed dunk last night was to be his last shot as a Tiger, not a bad way to go out.

He has never established what kind of position he should play. He came in wanting to be a stretch 4 kind of player but he has never had the outside shot to play there and has never shown he can consistently play down low. He has the one off games and plays but he hasn't made a big contribution over an entire season.

Some enter the transfer portal and stay, because their options aren’t what they were hoping for.

We have 1 big left...Cisse.

Lance could steal a few minutes here and there...

When we play a capable big who can score in the post...We are going to have to play small ball and hope.

That means DJ or Deandre at Center when Malcolm cant go.

Is STokes ever coming back? I can't remember.

Not a huge change. Lance was the one guy Penny had consistently restricted minutes on. If Dandridge can go an extra 4 minutes then you are not having to play small ball hardly anymore than we do now.

There are going to be some games when Malcolm wont be able to go at all...

He is the one guy that the shortened time frames around these makeup games likely affects the most.

True. We had already reached a point where it was Cisse, Dandridge, small ball - except for 5ish minutes for Lance. It's that tighter rotation we've been asking for.

Of course, your rotation doesn't include Dandridge. So your options are Cisse then small ball.

Usually only after the season though. If they enter during season they are BOH.
