Aresco would be a good fit.
He talks a big game, without backing it up.
Like Scott he’s paid 4 times more than his peers.
He used a fancy office that was unnecessary and expensive for his digs.
He blew funds on things like inventing a big bowl that never worked.
He signed a lousy TV deal that was initially praised as being big time.
Please add on to the list
I am pretty certain Mike Aresco is ~ 70. I doubt there would be mutual interest. If anything he will probably will be retiring in the near future and the AAC will have to name a successor.

He could be a good transitional guy to fix problems and be a bridge to the future. They went young and innovative last time----didnt really work out. Aresco could be more of a Slive type pick--but with a shorter time horizon. I actually hope that doesnt happen because the AAC would be kinda in trouble as there isnt going to be many who could sell the conference as well as Aresco.
Aresco's next job is likely to be couch warmer.
As much as the AAC would like to dump the money pit that is Mike Aresco, I don’t see it happening
