TU 78 WSU 68 Hope I am right, but I am concerned that Coach Phillips is again trying to lower our expectations just like he did before the ORU game. In today's Tulsa World, he again said there isn't any difference between these 2 programs (just like he did before ORU). I think this overly gracious talk needs to end. If he will also say that we are the same level program as OU & Arkansas when we play/played them, I wouldn't have a problem with it. But so far he only says it when we play lower level programs. I think he is covering his rear before the game because he lacks confidence. He also said the roles are reversed this year because WSU has the more experienced team. Sounds like a coach who expects to lose!

ORU and WSU are not on the same level as Tulsa, and Yes, it does sound like someone who thinks they have a good chance to lose. I don't think he has to be nasty to the other team or give them bulletin board material but I think he could say we expect to win!!!! He may not want to put any pressure on the team but they should know his expectations---------and that is he expects to WIN!!!

I'm really confused on what to think.......It could be TUlsa by 10.....WSU by 10......or Tulsa/WSU by 1......
