TIL: I'm a big Titans fan and love to see Derrick Henry throw that stiff arm. If you can't get to him, you're left diving at his legs and that's not going to get it done. But some complained that his stiff arm was a facemask. I looked it up and the offensive player is given leeway due to the fact that he has only one arm free. But he can't grab the facemask or push upward from the chinstrap (basically same as defender's hands to the face).

Just thought it was an interesting tidbit.
Correct. The ballcarrier is allowed to touch (stiffarm) an opponent's facemask but cannot grasp or pull on it in any way.

I saw a clip of Titan's practice and they had helmets on sticks they were jabbing at Henry with while he ran. Man, the reach of a 6'3" 240-lb that drills stiffarms during the week? Love to see it!
clt says Henry is good because he has Nate Davis blocking for him

Proportionately, I agree with this. He’s solid!
