What a load of crap at the end. Lights go out with 3 seconds left and Trojans have to have Ruot shoot a 3 after the confusion. I watched the whole game and we may well have missed the shot anyway but that was a huge distraction that the home team got away with. Poor ending by the referees. I have never seen this in my 36 years of following the Trojans

That was a load of crap! The officials should’ve stopped the play right then and there or at least give us those 5–6 seconds back. Meanwhile coach Marlin had all of his players run back the locker room immediately because he knew it was wrong! What a way to ruin a great game!

I hope this fires up the guys to win (preferably blow them out) tomorrow!

With the 2 teams playing again tomorrow, the Commisioner could have the teams replay the last 8 seconds or so. Won’t happen but the opportunity is there. It would be the right thing to do.

Nah. Crappy refs are never disciplined and their wrongs are never righted. Refs are the sacred cow of all sports, for some reason.

In today's game it is very hard to win when you are shooting 3s as poorly as we are tonight, but there we are right in the game.

Gutty performance. I would not believe with our shooters we would ever shoot that poorly from 3 for an entire game. Louisiana has some players and athletes so it’s going to be a fun few years clashing with them.

Palermo and Andric has been playing very well lately. They clearly deserve a lot of minutes.

As for our shooting, Lukic and Stulic need to get their mojo back or something. It just seems like we haven’t had an impressive 3 pt shooting game (other than game 1 vs UTA). Even Nowell hasn’t been shooting as well as he usually does. I just hope it’s a mental thing that can be overcome soon.

I don’t have a good answer but I believe good shooters just don’t forget how to shoot.

These 2 teams couldn't be more evenly matched. A split was appropriate, although I wish Friday's game was handled better by the refs. On Friday, no team led by more than 5 points. Today, the Cajuns ran out to a 10 point lead, late in the first half. We came back, right after halftime, and it was nip and tuck all the way after that. We do get them twice at the Jack which will be interesting.
