and the great thing about this is it will be the same teams again next year
and the year after that and don’t be delusional about an 8 team playoff because it will only mean nothing changes and it will be the same teams again every year
so the G conferences need to grow up and take action while the A conferences continue to use their ultra successful system that’s looking more like it’s so successful that it’s gonna kill itself
The A5 is gonna crash and burn in about 3 more years imo and when it finds itself sweeping up the ashes i hope the G conferences are already off to the races with our own league and playoffs and network and minus the NCAA...
the opportunity is now while the A conferences are running head long to their death
i can see the whites of their eyes... early bird gets the worm... second mouse gets the cheese
There's a 95% chance they'll be it next year too!!!!

WOOOOHOOO !!!!
Great. Grand. Wonderful.

Again, Who cares, I'll watch it as soon as an AAS team is in it!
exactly why all the hand wringing over who gets in every year makes me chuckle. nothing has changed.
Ohio St had the advantage of playing just enough games to work the kinks out while minimizing wear and tear and season ending injuries.

The B10 owes the AAC gratitude for insisting on playing this season. It took courage. The easiest thing to do was fold in face of uncertainty and harsh and dire media criticism. Ohio St and Nebraska deserve credit, also.
Don’t watch and proclaim as much on social media. If they get nervous advertisers they may be inclined to change.
Didn’t know that
Didn’t watch either game.
Won’t watch this stupid game either

It will be the highest rated game all year. Maybe ever.
Well, last year the title game was LSU vs Clemson, so this year has two different teams.

FWIW, I will definitely watch. What's not to like about watching Alabama play Ohio State? I would watch that at any time of the year, in an early September "kickoff classic" or now. I suspect that the TV ratings will be high, as you have two blue-bloods from different parts of the country playing. This is like a Duke vs Kentucky NCAA final.

Yup. Should be a good one too. Two programs that have dominated their region of the country in football over the last decade and most parts of the previous century as well. No love whatsoever between fanbases. Different cultures.

I'm interested to see the opposing D's go up against these offenses lol.

Alabama:
Mac Jones Top 5 QB prospect
Deonta Smith (IMO deserves the Heisman and that's at playing WR)
Jaylen Waddle (1st round WR talent)
Najee Harris (His run last week. Nuff Said)
ETC.

Ohio State:
Justin Fields (F Georgia. Man on a mission. Probably 2nd overall QB prospect)
Chris Olave (Outstanding college WR. Will play on Sundays. Round 1-3)
Garret Wilson (1st round WR talent)
Trey Sermon (F RB at Oklahoma I wanna real chance at a ring. Turning on the jets the last few games Zeke style)
ETC.
Who would've thought that a 4 team playoff would lead to even more concentration of talent in the east...It's amazing how many of these kids come from California and pass up every PAC school.
it’s the same teams. about six or seven of them, interchangeable yes but still the same

lol sports ratings were down all year in 2020. There were no interesting story lines in 2020 for college football. Only interesting thing to see is Justin Fields. This will be lowest rated CFP. I didn't even know Alabama and Notre Dame played.
It will get about 27 million viewers, not a record but above the midline for CFP Invitational final games

You think the Big 10 champ vs the SEC champ, two sections of country with the most avid fans, two geographically distinct regions and two historic top 10 teams will be a low rating game.

Ok

That may make sense on the low iq mt.org. Not here.

So does Ohio State win the most arrogant entitled fanbase award?

Entitled goes to Notre Dame.

The arrogance of Ohio state vs bama is a battle of the titans.

Yep, the new power five is Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma, Ohio State and Notre Dame.

From time to time you’ll see an LSU, Georgia, or Oregon... but the above 5 will always be in the picture.
