Cincinnati: Undefeated season + Indiana winning B1G championship game & Notre Dame going 11-1 - Still might not be enough...

East Carolina: Undefeated would not be enough with only 1 P5 opponent (South Carolina).

Houston: Still have one schedule opening with Texas Tech as the only P5 opponent right now.

Memphis: Undefeated would not be enough with only 1 P5 opponent (Mississippi State).

Navy: Undefeated would not be enough with only 1 P5-ish opponent (Notre Dame).

SMU: Undefeated would not be enough with only 1 P5 opponent (TCU).

Temple: Undefeated season + Duke winning ACC and Rutgers winning B1G would give them a chance, but it would still be unlikely because too many B1G and ACC Brands would be out there still (like a 1-loss Michigan, Clemson or Ohio State)

Tulane: Undefeated season + Oklahoma winning B12 and Ole Miss winning SEC would get Tulane into the playoff.

Tulsa: Undfefeated season + Oklahoma State winning B12 and Ohio State winning B1G would get Tulsa into the playoff.

UCF: Still have one schedule opening with Louisville the only P5 opponent as of right now.

USF: Undefeated season + Florida winning SEC and NC State winning ACC might be enough.
You could have saved a lot of time and just typed 0%.

AAC where winning is not enough even if you beat the "quality losses" in other conferences.

So you throw USF in there but kot Tulane???

Based on schedule, not our team strength Tulane plays Oklahoma, Ole Miss, UAB, and a fcs out of confeccne.

Lmao true.

AAC just needs to go undefeated OOC and the rest will take care of itself.

Oh my bad, I skipped them somehow. Must’ve Been subconsciously mad about the basketball game. I’ll add to the OP.
No greater than the chances of Bill Dazzle — a hobbyist drummer — ever being confused with Art Blakey, Buddy Rich, Papa Jo Jones, John Bonham, Neil Peart, Philly Joe Jones and/or Keith Moon.

Same as every year.
Zero, Zip, Nada.
If one of our teams goes undefeated there is a 100% chance we get in the conversation again. Keep doing that until the next CFP contract time and we might be that camel with the nose under the tent.

This. All of it.
Gary Barta at the CFP Final Selection Show in 2021: "I realize Cincinnati was undefeated, but they beat 10-2 Notre Dame and 9-3 Indiana at the start of the season when those two teams were not as good as they were later in the season. The committee was more impressed with 9-3 Florida and 9-3 Iowa State. That is why we rank them higher than the Bearcats."

Kirk Herbstreit: "What do you say to those people who question Iowa State's resume with a loss to Northern Iowa."

GB: "Again, the eye test tells me Iowa State's resume is more impressive than Cincinnati's. Iowa State looked great in their 7 point win over 3-9 Kansas last week."

Same as always. Zero. If it didnt happen this year---it aint gunna.
OK, if we go undefeated next year too, which means we would have won at Indiana and at Notre Dame, I think they would have to put us in. If they didn't then they would lose all credibility that all of FBS is eligible for the CFP.

The only exception would be if four P5 champions were all undefeated. Then they obviously would stick it to us.
Are you attempting to say the committee still has some credibility? They don’t.

0.0000000000000000% chance
Welcome to Whose CFP is it anyway, where the rules are made up and the results don’t matter.

Really it would just establish that Notre Dame and Indiana were not going to make the playoff. Being undefeated as a G5 school does not really mean anything. It only means something to lose to us. Our only function as G5 schools are to play spoilers. We literally have no chance in H-E-double hockey sticks to make the playoff under the current format.
AAC has a 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% chance.
