Leading at half having shot the ball well the other team makes adjustments and you don’t defend nearly as well.

Caught the last eight minutes. Was down by a couple possessions scored twice in a row to take a brief lead.

Then WMU let’s point guard beat us off to pick and roll three or four times. Straight line to the basket. One time he was surrounded at the rim but he made a nice pass for an assist for a layup to guy that was completely unguarded in a 1/2 court defense. How does that happen?

Offensively unforced errors each by B Artis and Cruz along with dribbling the ball into traffic getting tied up twice for jump balls in the 8 minute stretch I watched was painful.

Offensively because of the lack of spacing and two Bigs in the lane BSU was effectively playing a collapsing zone. With the exception of a whitens runner and an a put back off of missed free-throw western was reduced to shooting jump shots. Which they missed.

Now we know what it’s like when Patrick Emilien doesn’t shoot well.

BSU’s sixth year Missouri transfer racked up close to 20 points. 6’3 guard broad shoulders that nobody would stop. That is going to be the story moving forward as you look at other Mac programs. Who played at least three guards. Usually one in the 6’ 3 to 6’5 range. Akron just got a transfer from Iowa a WMU recruit, Maishe Daly at 6’7 . They they just beat Ohio by 20.

Need to see Jaylon and Adrian for 20 minutes each and every game. If you can’t stop them you’re not gonna have the confidence to out shoot them. It starts on the defensive end.
