Texas Democrats in the Legislature are improving on their record of, when they are about to lose a vote of importance, simply throwing a fit and walking out of the chamber.

Kind of a 'throwing a temper tantrum'-type act they keep on encoring for us. At least this time they didnt pull the mega- temper tantrum of the 'leaving the state entirely' stunt. They did that thing *twice* that year, iirc.

They were actually dodging being arrested by the Texas Rangers and brought back to Austin. The Governor? Speaker? iirc ordered the Rangers to find the group, and, if they were in Texas, to put them into custody and bring them back to Austin.

The House rules at the time allowed for the arrest and bringing back to the chamber any member who tried to intentionally block a quorum. If that rule is still in effect, the Dems this time dodged that because they timed their 'run away' at a time where the Session would end. I think that the rules put in since that Dem Spring Break have a looser quorum rule that moots such a move in the special session.

What if 4 AM on a Sunday was the only time I could get the tests? Clearly out to suppress me because of my Spanish heritage.

“After reviewing the information released from both the Fulton County audit in Georgia and today’s Arizona Senate hearing on the Maricopa County audit, I am formally requesting a more comprehensive audit from former Justice Michael J. Gableman and the Legislative Audit Bureau into the 2020 presidential election in Wisconsin.”

“It is vital to our democratic process that the Wisconsin Legislature acknowledges the alarming information that threatens the very fabric of our society. In order to preserve our God-given rights and ensure that citizens can have confidence in the integrity of our elections, I am requesting it be added to the scope of the Wisconsin audit to:

1.) Inspect paper mail in ballots in the “WI 5” where private funding was used in the election process for:
a. Signs of machine-folded ballots that are perfectly creased, or not creased at all.
b. Signs of pen puncture or indentation by a person vs. printed fill in circles on vote indicators.
c. Paper quality matches that of official use ballots. If they are heavier, lighter, or different in anyway, they should be further examined.
d. Signs of ballots not being printed squarely, or with lighter or heavier ink, or any other irregularities in any printing aspects.
e. Any questionable or missing chain of custody is further investigated.

2.) Review the digital files of ballots to insure what has been found in Fulton County by scanning ballots multiple times did not take place in Wisconsin.

3.) More thoroughly examine the cybersecurity aspects regarding routers and internet access, logins, protection software updates, and the handling of data that shows tampering of any kind that has been found in Maricopa County.

4.) If any of these indicators are found, these ballots should be separated from the official ballots, and a chain of custody/investigation into the origin of any fraudulent ballots should take place. All fraudulent ballots should not be counted.

“As a servants of the people of Wisconsin, coupled with the findings of two other states that show evidence of fraud that saw similar irregularities in their elections, it is our duty as a Legislature to restore confidence in our elections process.”

I knew it was ugly and have been saying it was a slam dunk, 300-400k Trump state. Appears I was light and it may be about a half million.

Another fun fact on PA - the winner of Luzerne County in presidential races has carried PA every election since 1936. Trump still won it over a lot of fraud.

Any Republican in that time frame winning Luzerne County has also never failed to carry Michigan.

SECTION 1. Title 16, Election Code, is amended by adding
Chapter 280 to read as follows:

CHAPTER 280. FORENSIC AUDIT OF 2020 GENERAL ELECTION

Sec. 280.001. FORENSIC AUDIT OF 2020 GENERAL ELECTION.
(a)The governor, lieutenant governor, and speaker of the house of
representatives shall appoint an independent third party to conduct
a forensic audit of the general election that took place on November
3, 2020.
(b) The independent third party appointed under Subsection
(a) shall audit every precinct in each county with a population of
415,000 or more.
© The audit under this section must begin not later than
November 1, 2021, and be completed not later than February 1, 2022.
(d) Not later than March 1, 2022, the independent third
party conducting the audit under this section shall submit a report
to the governor, lieutenant governor, speaker of the house of
representatives, and each member of the legislature detailing any
anomalies or discrepancies in voter data, ballot data, or
tabulation.
(e) This chapter expires April 1, 2022.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
Act takes effect on the 91st day after the last day of the
legislative session.
