Congrats to him, even though there won't be a game.04-clap2
Congrats to Spencer. But disappointed in the Senior Bowl that they didn't come through with an invitation.

This. Very excited for him, but definitely a snub by the Senior Bowl.
I’ll be not watching the Sr Bowl once again.
Spencer deserves accolades as he will be making some gm look smart in the NFL.
Congrats on a great career and a big finish!
Doesn't help that he hasn't played in over a month.
what are his stats this year?

When the Senior Bowl was a Mobile property, Delchamps (a member of the UA BOT) was said to block UAB players. Now it is run by and for NFL scouts so leaving him out may be more an indication of their interest level than before. He may have a lot to prove at the Combines in the spring.
So no chance Spencer uses the extra year and comes back??
Who would him coming back benefit? McBride will earn the starting role in the spring. Weve sacrificed enough on offense playing favoritism for a while now.

I think it depends on where he is projected to go in the draft. According to this site Lines.com he is projected to go in the 7th round.
