6 musicians that died in a matter of weeks. 2 that are way too young.

Great - a music shortage is next up.

Have we even had music since the early 90's? All I hear today are atonal chants.

Most of them don't even try to carry a tune - they just talk with music in the background - most don't even bother trying to come up with words that sound reasonably good together.
Well, you have 1 from the late 50s to early 60s, 2 from the 60s, 1 from the 80s from Autograph, 1 from the early 90s, and the country singer from between 2000 and 2010. They all were better than what we are hearing today.

A few exceptions, like Jennifer Hudson or Adele. But yeah, mostly what you said.

Autotune and over-prodution along with too much rap furrowing into Country even...sad excuse for "music" on the airwaves today...most "songs" are indistinguishable from one another these days...the "uniArtist".

It is a natural devolution when education ceases to be fact driven, ignorance is celebrated as an art form, banality as literature, and vulgarity and PC memes as comedy. All of it is hallmarked by the decline in the precision of language.

Sad news. Anybody else remember her talk show, Naomi's New Morning? This was my favorite song she did with Wynonna, it fits well today -

The punk rockers of yesteryear generally had more on the ball than "artists" today. Free speech translates we allow humor of all kinds. But what used to be authentic is now replaced by ignorance. Ignorance is not art, it is ignorance. I don't have much problem with a dirty joke or lyric. I have a problem with ignorant communists who hate America and our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Illegal non-citizens don't do much for most actual citizens. Let our legal citizens enjoy their free speech. Jail and deport the illegals. All of 'em.
Actor David Birney dead at 83

He starred in the tv show with his then wife, Merideth Baxter called Bridget Loves Bernie.
Free Speech..... it was only 3 days old.

With the announcement of Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter, Free Speech was to be reborn akin to the resurrection of Jesus Christ. In Free speech's first trimester however, only 3 short days after inception, The US government performed a perfect abortion of Free Speech with the announcement of the Disinformation Governance Board.

So long free speech - we hardly knew ye!

Suicide. Likely due to her illness.
