Susan Jacks of The Poppy Family died two days ago. She was married to Terry Jacks of Seasons of the Sun fame.

Have we even had music since the early 90's? All I hear today are atonal chants.
Most of them don't even try to carry a tune - they just talk with music in the background - most don't even bother trying to come up with words that sound reasonably good together.

Autotune and over-prodution along with too much rap furrowing into Country even...sad excuse for "music" on the airwaves today...most "songs" are indistinguishable from one another these days...the "uniArtist".

It is a natural devolution when education ceases to be fact driven, ignorance is celebrated as an art form, banality as literature, and vulgarity and PC memes as comedy. All of it is hallmarked by the decline in the precision of language.
