Just called out Calipari for always making things about himself.
I heard that, too, and he did it in Dakich-like style. Different opinions about Dakich, and I get those who don't like him, but I like how he calls a game.

He is entertaining...

But also very opinionated.

I have no issues with him honestly.
Definitely calls it like he sees it. He doesn't sugarcoat what he believes and I'm ok with that.

this...if he would just not comment on Memphis or the Tigers I would like him fine.
He has said some things I don’t like, but I thought he was good yesterday.

Yeah, was surprised yesterday that he was quite complimentary of Memphis. Said there was no way there were 25 teams with better talent than Memphis.... before we blew the big 1st half lead.
Too bad the Tigers didn't follow his lead and back up what he said, but oh, well. I didn't really plan on watching the WK/WVU game, but he's been pretty entertaining. And it's a good game. The loss to WK doesn't look as bad now as it seemed yesterday. Things might change toward WVU in the last 11 minutes, but WK is pretty gritty.
WKU was better down low. Cisse will be much improved by seasons end.

Actually stated that he was a BIG FAN of Memphis basketball in the past.....Knew a lot about Bartow. Finch FWIW
he coached 10 years and was a bad coach
We got out manned. Their bigs were much better than ours on that day. Wouldn’t mind meeting them later down the road with Williams and a more experienced Cisse.
Cal is a jackoff
Wish we could reincarnate Dana Kirk lol. He was a hell of a coach and I miss the misdirection play after halftime.

The same guy that never sniffed another job even though he was only 51 years old when he was punted? We could have had the original un-reincarnated version any time we wanted for the last 35 years.

I thought he coached one of the semi-pro teams here?

The biggest issue I had with him yesterday was that he would forget he was announcing a game and just go off on these long tangential convos. I have seen announcers do that in blowouts but not in a close game. It got to be pretty annoying. That and at one time we were one of the top 20 teams in the country and then we weren't to him.

He coached in the 6'5" and under league that played for a few months. But Stammers is right If Kirk were even close to employable he would have gotten another job- in NCAA or NBA basketball and he never even got close? Why?
Bruce Pearl got another job- Jerry Tarkanian stayed around forever, even Hugh Freeze got hired and will get a bigger job--- but Pete Rose never got another job in his sport... 03-idea

Cisse may be much improved, but he will not be anywhere close to an offensive threat. he may end up in the NBA, but he's currently the worst offensive player we've ever had... i think even hubbard was more of a threat
