We are a 7 point underdog vs. CMU at the Factory. The weather will be pleasant for very late November. Highs in the low 50s.

Hopefully a better game than the game yesterday in S.E. Michigan, the Lions. The NFL had two 'Turkey Bowl' games yesterday.

Such is 2020.

Only thing I notice in the 2-deeps is that DJ Smith is listed first among the RBs and Boone is last, presumably meaning he is still injured.

Drummond is listed #3 again. Will we see him at all this season???

Noticed that May is listed #3 on the QB depth chart. I assume that means if C.C. will use a backup QB today (in case we blow the Chips out of the Factory) that May could see PT. Maybe?????? I doubt Grissom would be the true backup.

I think that shows that May has a future at QB once those ahead of him have graduated.

CC seemed excited about May on signing day. He should've played a little against UT but CC never took out the 1st offense.

I want to see more of Evans.

The defense needs to have a better day. Did McGee and Vaden play against Toledo?

In the good ole days, I'd watch those QB tapes on Hudl and if I saw something I liked I would shoot a PM to EagleTough for his opinion. Hint: he does have a background in football more than just fathering a college/NFL player. He knows his stuff.

We both liked May. Doesn't have big size but I liked a lot of what I saw on tape.

We also had looked at Glass. Who should good feet and a very strong arm in his JUCO tape.

This is a really good highlight package for May. Really good arm. Throws strikes. Has good feet. Doesn't have B1G size...

My guess is that if he were 6' 3" and 205 he might have been a B1G recruit.

Someday folks will say, "How did we miss this guy..." And if we are out of bowl contention say the last game of the season, I hope he gets some PT since it won't affect his eligibility.
Saw Baron May play football and basketball in high school! He's the real deal........his size is the only reason why bigger schools didn't offer! Had scout looks from Ohio St, Indiana, and Wisconsin! Can run as well! Love to see him play today!

I don't think anything can be gleamed from the depth chart this year. Evans was listed #1 a week ago and didn't touch the field. Kaminski has been listed as the #2 as well. Both Has and Drummond have been listed #1 on did not even make the trip to the game. With no coverage and covid we will never know who is going to play til the first drive.

I just watched his film. He really moves the pocket and makes throws on the run. Also looks like a tough runner. I've seen RBs with less to show on their film. Size is not an issue nowadays. Plenty of 6' and under guys making it to the NFL.

Agree.

The MAC isn't full of Maxx Crosby's who might try to kill a 180 lbs. QB.

Indeed, give him Crum's (Kent State) size, 6'3" 207 and he wouldn't be in the MAC.

I'd love to compare, NFL combo style workouts, the arms of May and other MAC QBs.

I like to watch QBs because one can judge arm strength, accuracy, etc. from a game, regardless of competition level, a workout, etc.

I think we all knew Josh Allen had a NFL arm from our games vs. WYO. A big arm is a big arm.

As 'Nickle indicated he has a lot of mobility, can throw 40 yards on the run, much nifter runner than Hutch, etc.

As I have been saying we have Hutch, the So. Utah sitout, and now May. That is a nice stable of QBs.

All have better arms than Crum... 03-snooty

BTW, I just looked up his 247Sports profile. He committed to EMU early (06/2019). As I hope we all know, that one shouldn't look for a list of schools as long as an arm. Lot of players get a few offers and find their school and end the process. He ended it early. Apparently after the June 2019 camps.

To me that shows maturity. The worst thing in the world is a person who can't make up their mind and commits, decommits, switches schools, decommits, etc.
Drummond is back today, may be limited though.
Glad we are finally working Quian back into the offense. He’s so good.
Evan's and Williams........
Hutch!!!

Has CMU ever seen Hutch play before? They confuse easily. 04-cheers
What an opening drive!!

Now that is the kind of info I want to hear from a broadcast crew!!

I'll tell you, if Reggie Bell reminded one of Vince Young, Hutch is a little like Colt McCoy. Btw, shout out to Matt Campbell and the Iowa State Cyclones on their win over Texas! Now hopefully EMU comes up big today.
If you can't protect the ball you don't play
Bess has talent but he needs to hold onto the ball.
Why do we have so many injuries?!?!
