43-20 UT at the half
Marreon with 4 threes, 12 points. Rollins has 10.
Xavier topped Bradley 51-50 in the noon (ET) game
Zero points for Edu at the half. I know it's early, but I thought the big guy was going to be a scorer this year.

Saving it for Xavier 02-13-banana

I'll go back to dreaming now.
Spencer is 8 of 11 from three point land; his 24 points leads the Rockets command of this game.
Setric Millner Jr. is one rebound away from a double, double: 11 points and nine rebounds. The real deal.
80-53 Rockets top Oakland
Solid performance, hoping AJ not badly injured
Edu limping a bit as he headed for locker room after Oakland game. When in game he definitely did not display the rim protecting presence he had his freshman year. Then again he is wearing one of those ACL braces and is stronger looking and heavier. Didn't see him with back to basket on offense much at all. Hopefully he is just getting used to competition again and his somewhat new role on a new team.

I was hoping he could replace some of the points we lost from Knapke.

offense is not crucial, his defense is great and allows our other guys to be more aggressive. let's send good thoughts to his knee and hope it was just a tweak and some ice and few days of rest will get it back to health. we don't need him to score a lot-yes, make this easy ones he's been missing, which I think will come with more game action to get the rust out-but we do need him to be a great defensive team which is what it usually takes to win the MAC.
Oakland takes #25 Michigan to OT before losing.
emm, actually not over yet.

wow, that's unexpected. Michigan looked great against BG.

Kind of disappointing, because by all rights the Rockets should be 3-0...
Some lucky bounces for X and Edu being out contributed to the last loss...
So, Oakland had just come out of a long quarantine just before the X game? That could explain a few things regards their performance. How it translates to UT's level of play might not be so obvious.
