JMUs new arena is very impressive. The start for the JMU men's team, not so much. Lots of new faces there and it will take some time to develop chemistry. I'd expect similar growing pains for our Tribe.

Towson getting curb stomped by a good UVA squad. Towson has looked completely out of sync.
Really surprised how UVA's size has dominated Towson. Zane Martin a non-factor.

When you miss the easy shots, you are going to be in trouble against UVA. Towson missed a lot of easy ones.
Not CAA related, but fun tuning into the Georgetown/UMBC game. Their PG is 5'2 and the son of former GW stud Shawnta Rogers (Rogers is 5'4). Shortest player in D1.
Unfortunately, our friend LJ Owens went out after badly turning his ankle early in the 2nd half. He had 5 points at the half.
UPDATE : I don't know how, but LJ is back in the game. That ankle injury looked bad.
Watch out for High Point, they are giving Davidson all they can handle late in the game. Wright has 26 so far for High Point.

I am really old, I remember seeing Shawnta Rogers play like it was yesterday. Since I am only 5'7", I have always rooted for the guys who are as vertically challenges as I am.

His stats looked a lot like what he put up at W&M. UMBC only lost by 8...not too shabby.

Let's hope our first W&M athletic event since last winter is a winning one. We've defeated ODU 5 of our last 7 games with them.

In any event, Navy’s win over GW is almost as impressive as JMU hanging tough with Norfolk State.
