The Democrat candidate lied about where he lived and has admitted it AFTER being caught.

Unfortunately for the GOP candidate, the likely remedy will be the Dem governor Roy Cooper filling the seat with another Democrat. Very unfortunate and unfair to the GOP candidate
I would expect nothing less from a Democrat in power. Democrats are evil.
I think the GOP candidate could sue the other guy. Why not?
That's completely wrong. If what you posted saying that the Demoncrap won the primary and won't be able to get a seat in Congress why should the Gov'ner be the one to name the replacement. The replacement didn't beat the GOP candidate the cheater did and thus the Rep should be the one who gets the seat. He should take it to court.

For the governor to replace the cheater would be tantamount of someone winning a gold medal in the Olympics and then taken away for whatever reason and the IOC giving the medal to someone that didn't even run in the race. Even a Liberal organization like this would award the gold to the second place finisher.
this is actual Journalism. Kudos to Carolina Journal!
So basically the democrat CHEATED and will be rewarded by keeping the seat the cheated to win... NICE.

if that ends up being the case, every single judgement rendered by him should rightfully be automatically appealed. Any lawyer worth their salt would seek for a lawbreaker to be recused from the bench for their case.

The Gov will likely get to fill a vacant seat. Cooper is a Democrat so it will be filled by a Democrat.

Since no one did their job and verified the candidates residency the votes for that candidate, SHOULD be thrown out. But that does not look like the likely outcome
If the Democrat was ineligible, it sounds like the Republican won the election.

Understandable. We've all been there.

Probably going to use the Hillary excuse that he didn't "intend" to do anything wrong or mislead.
"At this point what difference does it make!"
