Who's winning the Western/Central Michigan game?

Any thoughts on Indiana/Ohio State & Wisconsin/Northwestern?
Take Rutgers and the points. LoL.

I'll take Central.

Indiana/Ohio State-It seems likely that Indiana will move the ball more than I'd like to see. OSU's defense isn't there yet, especially in the secondary. One thing that has impressed me the last couple of years with Indiana is that they will flat-out hit you on both sides of the ball. For that reason I think that Indiana will make it a very representative game with OSU holding on.

This is the type of game that strikes me as one that Wisconsin wins.

Yep, been saying for a couple years now that Tom Allen is building something nice in Bloomington. Like you said, they play and hit hard, I like that kind of team. Looking forward to this game.
Central getting hammered. Looks like my picks might be in for a long weekend. WTH, it's not like I work for Vegas.

Central is 0/7 on 3rd down conversions yet they have 22 points. Crazy game!

I started watching CMU/WMU but switched to Toledo/EMU because I have a buddy on the staff at UT. It's 38-13 but Toledo has proven that anything's possible. EMU beat them two years ago and rallied to force overtime last year.

Appears there are quite a few folks around here with Toledo connections. My sister-in-law is a Doctor up there and my brother-in-law is a coach/teacher at a private Catholic school there. It, like Cleveland, gets such a bad rap around the country because of the whole "rust belt" image. Yes the industries in areas are long gone, but they are still pretty cool cities. People kick me when I say Cleveland is my favorite city in America, lol! I love it up there!

No Penn State? 04-cheers
Aside from Clemson being too low I think it's a good list.

Cleveland is a great town. I'm originally from Sandusky (about an hour away) and once spent a decent amount of time there. Cleveland is much more east coast than it is midwest and I'll take it any time over Columbus or Indy. The ethnic blend is amazing.

Man, they are just out of the top 15. Maybe they can sneak in next week? There is something wrong with my formula if they do, lol!

Clemson controls their own destiny in my ranking. If they win out, they will be in the final four. I was surprised Wisconsin came out so high since I factor in amount of games played.

Cleveland definitely has so much to offer. I was born and raised in small town America. Farms all around and we had zero fast food joints, though there are some there now. So, I'm as midwestern as you can be and will always have a love for this region. Cleveland is unique to the rest of the state and I love the great lakes more than the oceans or any other body of water, so that helps. Cleveland Rocks!!!
I've driven through Ohio a few times and I really like it. It reminds me of my home which is great. It looks like a nice state to live in.

There were times in high school and college when some friends and I would visit some of the suburbs (Euclid, Parma, etc) trying to find unique ethnic restaurants. It was not unusual for us to eat at places where we were the only ones speaking English as opposed to Polish, Italian, Greek etc. The servers were bilingual and gave killer recommendations. I'm also with you regarding the Great Lakes.

Back to the topic. What factor in your formula explains Wisconsin?

Wisconsin is 10th nationally on offense and 2nd on defense. I shoot for the lowest scores and I subtract 5 points for every game played. So the more game you play the lower your score, but currently, their offensive and defensive score is bailing them out. Their strength of schedule (SOS) is solid too. I know the SOS is hard to gauge this year but it still factors into my equation.

So my formula is lower the score, the better!

Alabama is soooooo far ahead of everyone else that it's almost ridiculous. They are actually negative in their final score and no other team is even close to negative right now.
