Understand early yet. Excited about new direction and infusion of talent.

I mentioned when the change occurred that I thought the likes of Adrian Martin would have the handcuffs taken off. Never understood how someone who could guard in an area where defense was so highly suspect that he wasn't given a chance. He like all others didn't look good defensively n the pick n roll. Much of that was the inability by the bigs to be effective. IMO you put out those that can defend. Set the tone and create opportunities for transition. Think Buffalo. If you make the screened defend like a junk yard dog the S/R becomes far less effective. You get soft you get rolled.

I understand first year he didn't shoot well. Last year accuracy was vastly improved. Minutes ticked up slightly. I know the side of the W ledger was lean but his contributions at Miami assured the W. In the loss at BSU he drove that 2nd unit in assists and shooting to make a game of it.

Like football it all falls to conference play. Time to be ready to win not "develop". I can see 4 guards and a post. I can also see 3 bigs in a 2-3 zone.
WMU coaching staff recently had Zoom meeting including Q&A with Fast Break Club Members.
Great way to update the booster group.

State of Michigan & the WMU’s own restrictions drastically reduced preseason practice days.
So what's the WOTS in spite of the imposed limitations to practice? They're not operating in a vacuum.
Squeaky has been cleared to play after most recent surgery.
Sounds like Titus has transformed his body like Reitz did from freshmen to sophomore.
Grad Transfer Greg Lee maybe even better than expected.
Barrs has supposedly gained 25-30 lbs

My guess of starting lineup: Greg Lee, Titus, Cruz & White with 3 spot up for grabs.
